An Archive of Open-Access Arthurian Media
Locate and obtain Arthurian media.
Scan or otherwise digitize the media.
Organize and archive the media.
Provide opportunities for open-access learning.
The archive is sorted into categories to help you find the media or information you're looking for. The archive offers everything from the Medieval texts themselves, to modern retellings, to film adaptations, to educational material, and more.
For anyone new to the vast world and long history of Arthurian Legend, the best place to begin can seem impossible to find.
Below are guides for introductory Medieval texts with informational resources ordered from most newbie friendly to complex. Provided alongside the Medieval texts are relevant secondary material which may aid in comprehension including guidebooks, encyclopedias, explanatory essays, and documentaries.
If you're seeking media focusing on specific details, I've written recommendation posts sorted by characters, story elements like the Grail Quest, or Hi-Low Arthuriana for anyone just starting out.
Lastly is the most subjective category of all discussing various Arthurian topics at length including an in-depth look at various characters, Arthurian motifs, modern media's handling of the Medieval source material, and more.
