Welcome to the brand new Arthurian Preservation Project website!
"This anthology was devised in order to bring under one cover some of the richly diverse materials related to the romantic lore of King Arthur. It begins with history and pseudo-history, touches on Celtic folklore, where Arthur’s legendary roots are discernible, and then enters the broad stream of imaginative literature, where the fantastic clearly takes precedence over the factual. The time span covered is the millennium from 450 to 1485, when the romance of Arthur took root and flowered."
